Shot made at the Lake Cypress boat ramp as the sun was rising. I laid on my belly and had this guy walk straight to me! I actually had to un-zoom back to 130mm.:D

Good head angle and sharp but underexposed. Sh-H on the feathers and then select and ligthen the iris should give it more pop. The grasses are a distraction for me.

On your belly taking bird photographs...perfect! Nice dedication that paid off in an image that you create at 130mm. I agree with Artie that the image is underexposed (all the light water fooled your meter). An occasional glance at the histogram and you probably would haven noticed that a +2/3 or more was in order (but that can be difficult to do when the subject is moving toward you and getting better and better!)

I like the composition and pose and agree regarding underexposure. Should be easy to fix.
