This is another in a series of blue jay images from New Years day at my father-in-law and grandson's yard in Orford, Quebec. All three of us are BPN contributers. I like the pose and head angle and hope I haven't cropped it too close.

Not too tight for my taste. I like the different shades of blue.

I like the fluffed-up pose and details and would give it more room. I would also clone out the spots in the upper left.

It is a tad tight for me but the bird looks so sweet and fluffy that I just want to hug it and keep it warm. Great coloers and head angle. The blue tones are lucious and the BKGR is pleasing. I really love this one.

The blues are aglow! Very nice overall. . I like how it is fluffed up - keeping warm from the cold air and icy perch :-) I'm also finding it a bit tight in the frame however.

Maybe just leave a bit more on the bottom and I too would clone out the dark bg spots upper left. The blue sure pops and the ice on the branch adds to the overall winter feeling.
