Invalides

While in Paris for a few days before heading south I went to Invalides (war museum) Shot this many ways and finally went to a traffic circle that had a small island across the street. Waited a good half hour to get a fairly clean, unobtrusive image. Cloned a few people out. As you can see it was an overcast day but every now and then had a bit of light to play with. This city lives up to it's rep by being one of the most beautiful in the world.....

This is a beautiful place...and you captured it with a nice perspective. I like the use of the wide angle with the inclusion of the flowers in the island; leading your eye to the magnificent building in the background...well composed and executed...thanks for sharing...looking forward to more of the Paris tour...:):D:cool:
