I wanted to take some afternoon pictures so bad one day and I got rained out so while I was desperately looking around for something to shoot I saw this desert rose flower with some rain drops in it. I was happy with the way it turned out but have a question. I used a macro ring but didn't like the flash reflection in every rain drop so I took them out. Was this the right thing to do? Any other suggestions would be great!

Matt, I also like it! The colors and placement of the throat are great!

Hi Matt,
A pretty flower indeed...:) suggestion: I would recommend in moving the opening of the flower a little bit up in frame towards the upper right hand corner and desatirating the reds; they are running a little rich; you need to adjust your red chanel...aside from this, this is a nice capture...

Hey Matt, nice image with good details and the drops add a nice touch. It's fine to clone out imperfections like the hot spots.

Nice! Love the colors and the raindrops are a nice touch. I think this might be even more exciting if you turned it 1/4 turn to the right (CW) so the yellow center was more towards the bottom. Just a thought...
