Wild Otter Warning

I surprised this wild otter while canoeing in a lake last summer. As i came close to it, it surged from the water and gave me this warning. I did only had a few seconds to take this picture.

I like the pose and open mouth but it is quite soft, maybe some motion blur. As for the composition, I find the otter too centered in the frame.

was wondering what cud the light patches around & below the neck be (some kind of reflections)?
