We were thrilled to see this coyote but he was not around for long. Just got a couple of captures of him. They are such beautiful creatures that to have just seen him was exciting.

Judy, I love the pose-and you captured a really beautiful coyote. The last one I photographed looked like he hadn't eaten in weeks. Colors are nice and the snow has a twinkle to it. Very nice as usual!

Good looking environmental. I like how the grass bunched with snow frame him so well. Exposure on the snow is just right.

This is a great environmental portrait. I love the snow-covered grasses and scrub. The pose is good and head angle/eye contact is excellent. I would have like to see the tail curl away from the body, especially towards the left. This would have made the shape of his body more pleasing to the eye. Well done.

Hi judy:

Gorgeous photo as usual from you . . .

What's not to like . . . I, like you, think that Coyotes are beautiful along with Wolves.

Many thanks for sharing this beautiful capture

Beautiful light on this nice specimen. Like the comp with snow and grasses, and of course the great look back at you! Very nice.

Judy,
I like this image. I like the depth of field you achieved. The track in the snow, grasses, the pose add up to the image.

Cheers,
Sabyasachi

Great job balancing the snow exposure with the darker areas of the fox fur. I really like the backwards look and the eye contact.

Hi Judy,
I like the zig zag tracks he left in the snow. The tracks, together with the curve of his body, kind of lead my eye up the trail through the snow covered plants and out the top of the frame.

A really great capture Judy... I especially like the path made in the snow leading into the image, and I think maybe cropping some off the right and making this more of a vertical format may be interesting to explore.
