Hello Martin and welcome to Birdphotographers.net.

What a lovely image you have here. Looks a little tight in the frame but I love the feeling and soft light to this one. I would select the eye and light it up a little more. You did well with the BG (Back Ground).

Welcome once again and I hope to see more of your work!

Thanks!

As mentioned by Maxis, I would add a bit more of canvas on left and on top. The rest is extraordinary!
Probably is not the best eye contact owl/camera, but is the perfect owl/pray.

tremendous first post! I agree with a bit more canvas up top and out in front of the bird. Congrats on a beautiful image!

Absolutely gorgeous. The BG is beautiful and I love the soft light. Great texture in the feathers...especially the legs. I actually enjoy the eye/head position as the whole comp is a bit different. I agree that I might add a bit more canvas to the image but it is a beautiful image. Nate

Welcome Martin! The owl looks great; I don't mind the lack of eye contact because of the hunting pose. The BG is perfect. But I agree with the others that it's a little tight in the frame as presented. Thanks for sharing!

Great background with lovely soft lighting. I have been trying all season to get a flying shot like this. Wish it was mine.

Thank you for the comments... Yes I know it is a little tight but it stays full framework in bottom and has front
