Beautiful and creative, Denise! I wish the end was a little lighter and more in focus but the rest is superb! I like how the BG adds an intense orange tone to compliment the subject.

I really like the composition here. The light looks great. The background is excellent. And the light really highlights the texture in the leaf itself. I just don't like that black tip at all.

I like the composition. the texture and colors are very nice...I too agree on the tip...suggestion: see if you can lighten the tip up to bring out the details...:cool:

It makes a difference, Denise. With the original. the entire leaf had a translucent quality until you reached the tip which looked a flat black. In the repost, you've got just enough detail in the tip now that the specter of translucency reaches all the way to the tip.
