Had a small influx of snowy owls come down from Canada. Glad a couple decided to hang aroung near where I live.

Great exposure control, details, pose and composition. Great to have this species in your neighborhood. Could you post the complete techs? I look forward to seeing more.

Could I have the spare room in your house? :) :)

Lucky you, I feel terribly jealous... Very nice catch with great whites. Way to go!

Fantastic capture... I think the placement of the owl in the frame is ideal. Nice work.

Love the COMP, pose and the incredible sharpness. That 50D can really focus.

Was the bird baited or were you just lucky?

Well I wish I had one of them that was as helpful as yours! A very nice image, the comp and under wing details are nice.

Very nice, like the angle of the bird in frame, nice whites too.

Yes the bird is being fed. Some of the ones that came down our way ended up dying of starvation. Hopefully with the food people are feeding her she will make it. Hate to see something that pretty end up dying. Thanks for the comments.
