The overall effect is great, I would have left a little less on the bottom as I find it overpowers the shot a bit. Wish you would have been on the other side of the Ahinga, but as a backlit shot, it's great.

Lovely image Fabs! Great setting with nice soft light. I agree with Art about cropping a bit off the bottom of the image.

Oh my, what a beautiful shot. Very dramatic, with rim lighting made to order. I hope you don't mind my playing around with this edit. Just wanted to see how it might look with a darker background.

Wow, David, I like it!
I had used a GND filter, rotated to get the right side darker, but didn't think about darkening the BG.
I do prefer the longer version though, it seems more balanced to me, but just a matter of taste.
Thanks again :)

Now that I look at it again, I agree about the longer version.

Fabiola,
I too like the longer version but like the darkening David did as do you. I would suggest cloning the two small branches protruding into the anhinga's tummy on the right side.

Certainly lots of possibilities with this lovely image, but I like it as originally posted. Rich, warm, colorful. The bg gives it depth.

Long version with the darkening is a big winner! I just love the light in this image and you captured just the right pose. Very good eye to spot a scene like this Fabs...but then I've come to expect your eye to find stuff like this!
