Male Osprey Arrives Home With A Fish -S.W Florida

The opportunities photographing Ospreys are increasing by the day. Soon, they will have eggs and the chicks will grow and they will come often to feed. Last year, I wasn't able to photograph them but this year I will take full advantage of this wonderful location.

I love interaction shots and this is a good one. It tells a story and there is no doubt what is happening. It's great to find an extended opportunity like this. As you are able to set up on these guys, I wonder if a little fill-flash (better beamer or such) would light up the eyes and faces a little.

Osprey seem to offer wonderful opportunities for story telling. I'm rarely impressed by an image of an Osprey just sitting there. Something needs to be happening. Fortunately, a lot is happening in your image. Well done.
