The man with the P&S strikes again. No dice getting my 5d Mark II in to the concert last night at the Hard Rock Hotel in Fort Lauderdale. So my Lumix at my side and a steady hand and proper settings and some post processing, and I have a decent shot ....:D On this song he performed a cover of AC/DC's Highway to **** with his roadie Chainsaw on vocals.

Camera: Panasonic DMC-FZ8
Exposure: 0.008 sec (1/125)
Aperture: f/3.3
Focal Length: 72 mm
ISO Speed: 250
Exposure Bias: -1 EV

I used Nik Sharpener Pro and Noise Ninja in post processing. Note I shot this from the back row ...

So he's still doing that? I saw him twice three years ago (I think) when he did the record 12 gigs at Madison Square Garden. It was so great, although when I listen to the CD, I prefer his voice as a younger man. :D You seem to be pretty close to the stage - lucky you! You got a really nice image with the P&S!

Beth, I was in the backrow. My Panasonic has a decent telephoto; just difficult to handhold in poor light and get a sharp image.

Even more impressive, Michael! I thought perhaps you up in a balcony or something. For a self-professed old guy, he still does a great concert, even if he does lower the songs' keys a couple of steps.

It is impressive...both the image and the fact that he's still rockin' and rollin'!
