Keep trying - I'm keen to see this bird. Make sure the file size is within the limits for posting - if it's too big it won't work.
Glad you got the image up - lovely colours. I agree with Axel that it looks a bit flat and I think a levels or curves adjustment would help. Also agree regarding pale part of background - a slightly lower shooting position may have eliminated it.

Beautiful bird. It looks a bit flat on my monitor, maybe you could increase the contrast. The perch is not ideal and the white part of the BG is a bit distracting.

A very colourful looking kingfisher Tang - is that the true intensity of the blue wing?
Nice sharp focus and good placement of subject in the frame. The white strip behind the bird is quite distracting though.

Is this a re-post?? It's a beautiful bird, good exposure. The BG is a tad distracting and although the colours are great, I think they maybe a little over saturated.
