I've been going through some older images tonight, and processed this one of one of the moose here in northern Utah. This was captured back in the summer of '05.

Gorgeous setting for this head portrait, with soft light and catch light at that. If he had turned a few degrees towards you, it would have taken this over the top.

Really like the FG/BG colors and level of detail. Head turn toward you would've been nice as mentioned, but the intensity of his look works real well the head angled away. Makes me wonder what he's checking out. Great sharpness and shadow detail.

John, I am agreeing with Steve here. Having the intensity of the look, the good framing with the flowers, the glint in the eye and the pleasing BG make this image.
