Taken on the beach this summer. These only bloom for a short period. On this particular day, they flowed with the wind. Taken while sitting down on the ground looking up.

Canon 40D, Canon 18-55mm @ 44mm
F10, 1/1250, ISO 250
handheld, full frame

C & C welcome,

The angle of the weeds and the vertical comp gives the feel of swaying in the wind. Has a seaside feel even without knowing the location (or title).

Lovely flowers, Marina. I like your composition, angle and BG. The tops of the stems seem a little OOF. Maybe the result of wind action? Your aperture seems ok enough the get them in focus. Maybe a little selective sharpening in PP could solve the problem.

Hey Marina, nice color contrast with the flower against the blue sky. Good sharp details and I think its sharp on the top but the fuzzy white part gives the illusion that its soft. Well done.

Very nice, Marina! I tried to do macro images of this same plant all summer and it's a bear to get in focus. Next time I'll try your lying down technique!

Love the composition. Love the way the goldenrod sweeps into the frame. Love the background. Love the contrasting colors.

Nicely done Marina,
I like the composition, image and capture...The placement of the subject in frame is just right. I like the contrasting colors of the sky with the yellow/green hues of the plant...good show...

This is a simple, yet elegant and well composed image IMHO. :)
