Big Horn Sheep in the snow
This is a shot moments before the protrait shot I posted a few days ago. This single big horn ram came down to the road because of the snow, and more importantly the snow plow and its salt.
With the snow I had consistent light, so the challenge with this shot was removing the road, the ram was about 6 inches from the roadway so I cloned out the road using this shot and a few other shots. I also worked on the eyes a bit making them a bit lighter and more saturated.
D300, 500mm f4 @ f6.3 1/320 ISO 400, tripod cropped just a bit bottom, left, and top.
