Great colors and composition Charles and I like the lovely sky, rock and plant reflections in the water. Very vibrant and appealing image. Thanks for sharing.

Nicely done. Another option, and one i'd favor, is cropping the top just leaving a bit of the shoreline and capitalize on the reflection.

Hey Chas,
I'm not the biggest fan of the brush in the BG.....even though you minimized it very well. I did look at fabs suggestion of eliminating the rocks.....and for just a minor clone of the shadow area a bit.....it does strengthen the comp considerably. Do the old browser crop......scroll until you eliminate all the rocks but have the curve of the upper bank.....looks pretty good. I also looked at it with cropping out just the brush......works also.....but I like the reflection only approach with the near FG best.

Interesting since I looked at the two crops suggested.
I guess I have been put off by the general public looking at my reflection pictures "only" and saying what gives ?
Im not really a landscape person ,but when something strikes my eye I try to figure out why ?
Thanks for all the input ! Lets hope it improves my output !

Chuck,

I think the crop suggestion is a good one as the main attraction of the image is the reflection.
