Nice composition, the vertical works well. Was this cropped from horizontal, or taken as vertical? Love the open bill and tongue. Nice low angle too. Head angle could be a bit better though...it's not bad, but could be better (a bit more towards us).

Pin sharp Dan, and love the show of the tongue in the open beak, together with the tiny teeth visible on the beak. Well captured.
