Stars O'er the Everglades Pinelands

While leaving the Glades yesterday, I headed out to Pine Lake Camp area and tried some night shots with the 5d Mark II. This is a 20 second exposure at f/5.6 at ISO 3200.

5d Mark II w/24-105L @ 28mm

I used a flashlight to illuminate the tree trunks.

I did apply 1 layer of noise ninja on this shot.

Hey Michael,
glad to see you got to try it out for yourself. I like your use of the trees as a framing element on the right balanced nicely with the star field on the left. You may want to go a bit darker with the sky.....as this will reduce the rest of the noise even further. Maybe I will see you in Wako.

Lovely sky and great advise from Roman A great learning experience too. I'd like to see something grounding the trees, though.

Thing I might suggest Michael is going a bit right to get the one tree's trunk into the LR corner and not cut partway up the right edge.
