Pine Glades Sunset

A 3 image HDR taken yesterday at sunset in Everglades National Park.

5d Mark II + 24-105L
exposure taken at -2, 0, + 2 with NDG filter (3 stop)

I cropped the sky as there were no clouds to add interest.

Moved to Pano forum as it is HDR and a Pano (2:1 ratio).

Totally agree on the sky crop. I like how you framed the FG as the shore forms a nice arc that frames and anchors the image. I probably would have included a bit more on right so tree was not right at the edge.

Hey Michael,
See you found it OK.....and did a really nice job with the color from the smoke. I thought you were going to get more clouds......but you handled the few nicely. Colors look a bit jacked up .....but I like them in this case....nice curve to the shore line too.

Roman the clouds were more to the south. Thanks for the directions. I love this place and the little gator too. He was a poser.

Typical winter sunset in the glades (sans clouds!). This is a fine scene, but I don't think I'd take the colors quite that far.
