This one is a little noisy being shot at ISO 800 with a D2X. I would love to be able to reshoot this with my new D3

Great action shot. The stare is special. I agree about the noise. Have you tried Noise Ninja or Neat Image?

Fine natural history capture. Agree with the above posters on comp and noise. Maybe a bit more contrast and color saturation would help as well..

The dripping water and head turn work really well. Looks like the highlight-shadow tool was used here, it is lacking contrast/punch but can easily be fixed.
