Nothing special just love photographing these little guy's.
Shot at Green Cay with a Canon MK-II - ISO = 400 @ f/5.6
1/1000th. of a sec. 100-400 - L at 400MM.
All C/C's very welcome and hoping all had a wonderful holiday.

Nice shot, though if possible I would have pulled back a bit more to get the full rings. Also, the drop of water just on the reflection of the head is distracting.
A very good try though

I like the fluffed up feathers. Sharpness and eye contact are good. But the angle is steep. I might crop a little off the bottom.

I like the fluffed-up plumage and eye contact. I wish for a lower angle. The repost looks better but maybe a tad more space at the bottom.

Soo cute! For me I would have loved this froma lower angle. I understand it's not always possible though.

Especially where the photography takes place, it's a wildlife refuge with a boardwalk so it is what it is, and thank you so much for your comment.

Hi Bill. I would have cropped just below the reflection of the bird at the bottom of the image. And I would have left the top of the image unchanged. Sorry for not getting back to you sooner!
