Grace and I visited Green Cay Preserve in Florida and found out why they have boardwalks.
This guy thrust forward killed the turtle instantly and you could hear the crack of the shell.

What an amazing bit of natural history here. You did well to capture it. Framing is pretty nice. The bright reeds in the BG are distracting and could be removed.. Overall the image seems a bit dark.. With a little PP work you have a winner...

Great action you caught. Would have been great to see this action. You caught this quite well, with the important details of the prey (softshell turtle) visible. The only thing that detracts is the dark background above the gators nose which makes it hard to distinguish
