Great BG light and pose. I would darken the bird more, put him further to the right in the frame and apply some NR on the BG.

Hi Layton,

I have to agree with Axel. My first thought was to have more room in front of the bird and remove the noise. This image have a lot of potential!

A great one Layton. I really like it. The colors and the birds position and pose are just fantastic.

With the position and NR recommended changes it would be even better.

Well done. Simply pointing the lens a bit to the left would have made life a lot easier. It is almost never a good plan to have more space behind the bird than in front of it unless you have a good reason to do so.... No good reason here.

Hey Layton,
As the landscape guy of the bunch and my somewhat obssesive love of the crop tool......you could also crop the room from the right and top proportionally........this would satisfy the placement issue (which I agree with).....and not lose much from the overall frame. Other......probably better result....crop from right and add proportional amount of expanded canvas. Run the NR on the BG........and just a super, super image!

Simple but terrific image Layton. Very nice silouette and fantastic BG´s color but would love to see a little more room at the left.
