This is a first year hatchling female Eastern Bluebird. I've been fortunate, this year, to have two juveniles from my resident pair's last brood stick around and often join the adults when I offer them mealworms.
This was taken with my Canon Rebel XTi and 100-400mm lens at a focal length of 400mm. I used aperture priority 5.6, 1/60, ISO 400 with exposure compensation plus 2/3
(I tried several times, uploading this as a larger file, I double checked the file size, which was less than the maximum requirements, but it was rejected, so that is why the file size is small.)
