Kept toying with the idea of meeting the gang at west end this morning to look for a snowy. Finally decided to go even though the wind chill was in the teens and it was sleeting a bit. No sun as well. As you can see it was worth the effort. I think the owl was the only one who wasn't cold. A great morning with Grace,Terry,Ted,Lou,Jimmy and Artie Morris as well. Still can't wait to get to Florida:lol:

Very cool pose, angle and details. You could have lowered the ISO easily. It looks a tad reddish on my monitor.

My mistake Axel. The SS was 1/800 not 1/8000. My 63 year old eyes are at it again!!!!

Nice pose and overall exposure. Good move deleting the location it was photographed at as well. :D:D

Nice seeing you there. It was chilly. Wonderful image. Sharp with a perfect exposure. The teacher in me cost me this one--I was checking the histogram for the guy to my left when the bird ruffled. Glad that you got a good one.

Hi Joe, I love the pose of the owl and the comp you chose, the cast is there but it is minor.
