The patterns displayed by this bracket fungi caught my attention.
Canon EOS 5, Canon 100mm macro, Velvia 50, 1/125 sec F16, Flash x2.

Well done! Bracket fungi is food for cameras and this is a great image although perhaps a tad too tightly cropped for me and a bit contrasty (are those white rings for real)?

Hi
A pleasing image of this smashing group of fungus. It is always difficult to decide what to include and exclude in this type of shot, and I think you have chosen an appealing balance as presented.
I suspect the whites are pretty accurate - this reminds me of a many zoned polypore species - but could easily be something else
The only real suggestion I have would be perhaps also using a polarizer, mainly to cut down upon some of the leaf glare
Neat image
All the best

Another nice abstract. I like the contrast in colours and the patters.

I probably would have, after capturing this type of composition, moved in for more intimate details on the fungi. Nice work John.

Great eye! I really like the strong contrast of the browns in the fungi contrasted by the green moss and leaves.

Hey John, I've heard this called Turkey Tail Fungi. I like the nice sharp details, and as Robert mentioned, some posiblities of some nice tight shots. Well done.
