Nice intimate scene you witnessed here. Flash would have helped with the darks on the face here as they are currently blocked. I'd rather see the duck at right of the frame as opposed to the left like you have (he has no room to "look" into). The BG is not ideal and somewhat distracting...but the refelction of it looks much better :-)

I like the angle, eye contact and reflection and agree with Daniel regarding composition and underexposure. Keep them coming!
