Found this one from August while cleaning up files. I like the skimmer's wet chin from fishing.

Thanks for looking and for your comments.

Very nice exposure control, details, pose and BG. I might put the bird a bit further to the right in the frame and/or add space on the left to get him out of the center.

Good job, Grace . The skimmer really leaps out from that BG and I like the 3 tones in the BG. Great eye contact (bird and fish!). Might just back the sharpening off a tiny bit.

Really nice Grace! You got great eye contact with both bird and fish. I agree with Tony that it looks slightly oversharpened. I might crop a touch off the bottom too.

Nice capture, both you and the bird.. Like the layered B/G, good exposure too.

Nice work.

I like the comp just fine, but I love the background layers. Great find in the files.

Sharp and sweet. Love the fish. Could do without the wet chin--it looks pretty grungy...

Love the light, the pose, the BG, the colours and preety much all about this one, IMO it could use a bit less sharpening and some noise reduction, the fish is a big plus! Congratulations!
