This image from Saturday at Sundown has no blurring to the marsh grass - all I can figure is that there is no grass on the same plane as the Owl's head. The blur on the Owl's right side must be from some grass. I do wish that when I find a rare bird that I would take a deep breath, slow down and get it right! 800iso, f5.6 at 1/500 AV, EC +2/3 1Dmk3 on 500 f4 IS hand held - this 80% of the frame. Have not located the Owl since Sat. - Biddeford Pool, Maine - Bob
