I love it Adrian. Absolutely just love it. Beautiful color. Sharp as a tack. The angle of the stem is perfect. Wonderful image to my eye! Excellent job here.

I have to agree with Ed. It's absolutely perfect. It makes a stunning impact with the black BG and the bright sunny yellow petals. The composition is perfect - everything that is important is there and well placed - nothing extra or distracting.

It's simple and beautiful. Nicely done!

Adrian - nice comp. I'd like a little more room on LL between leaf and frame, but that's all.

What type of flash did you use? The effect looks like a ring lite, straight on and evenly lit. Nice job!

Thank you very much for the kind words!
Bruce, I've used Nikon SB600 with manual, output power, setting. I would like a ring flash, but is expensive.....

Hi Adrian, I like your composition, I may have wished for some more room on the left. I do find the light from the flash a little too harsh, producing very strong shadows. It gives the image a little unnatural look. Did you take this in a studio?

Yes, the image was taken at home, with some black fabric behind the flower...

Hey Adrian, this image has a lot of pop, which I like. great contrast, and details. Good comp, and like the black BG. Agree with the need for a tad more space on the left. Well done.
