This has quite an awsome looking 3D effect to it. They look like they're going to drop out of the screen. Sharp, great exposure,terriffic BG. It doesn't bother me that the upper bird's feet are not visible. Excellent!

Lovely BG and landing pose. Would only prefer separation between the birds. DOF has covered the birds well while still rendering a nice OOF BG.

The identical poses are sweet!! Perfect DOF, I like that we can see a bit tree detail. Contrary to John I find the hidden feet of the far bird unfortunate. Still a fine, fine image :-)

The identical pose really makes the shot. I like that the dark spots in the background are not overlapping any of the black feathers. This keeps the birds nicely set of from the background. Just of fun I attempted a quick edit to see what it might look like if the birds were separated.

The mirrored wing positions are great as is Leroy's re-post. I would vote for lightening the darkest blobs with a QM. Great to see you posting here and hope that you are feeling better.

Like the first image for all of the reasons outlined above. The repost illustrates for me how much separation of birds contributes to the overall image quality in many cases (Artie's recent post notwithstanding).

I like the oringinal and I also like Leroy's altered version, amazing what can be done in PS.. Great timing in the cature, exposure and B/G are spot on..
