Hi Stuart, Welcome and a big time thanks for your mmembership support. ou have two pretty good head angles, the birds are relatively sharp, and you have done a good job of framing the image. Boosting both Contrast and Saturation would give this a lot more pop. The dead tree upper left and its branches behind the heads of the GBHs is distracting. Was this at Venice? When? Both birds are in pretty spiffy color with nice ultramarine lores.

Beautiful birds Stuart. Nice and sharp.

Image would benefit from a small S curve to boost the saturation and contrast in the flat light.

Also is would help to include notes, I asked myself the question as Artie.

Stuart- I like the soft light and the action captured here. Looks like the front bird a branch as nest material and the rear bird is trying to give hand, or a bill in this case. I agree that the other branches are somewhat distracting. If you were so inclined some of the worst offenders around the head of the right hand bird could be removed in Photoshop.

Would be useful to know the date and location.
