While I am not a big fan of over the shoulder poses this one is really well done. Great SH, BKGR, and us of d-of as well as a perfect head turn. I like the rosy throat. Love the grass stalk on our left but the one right behind the bird is a distraction.

I would selectively sharpen up the head a little, in addition to the eye.

As good an over-the-shoulder pose you could hope for. What is that pink dot on the perch below the foot? Too bad about the whitewash (?).
