This Osprey was taken at the Green Cay Wetlands with a Canon MK-II ISO=320 at f/6.3 1/1000th. of a sec. with a +1.0 Ec and 400-MM.

Nice pose and relatively sharp. Big blue/cyan cast... Looks like too much SH/H on the underwings...

Slightly challenging exposure with this one, Bill. There are some hot whites on the head but I suspect the underwing area was under-exposed and needed opening up in post as revealed by the noise in the primaries. May be worth making 2 versions from the raw and combining in a pseudoHDR to maximise detail. There is a broad soft halo around the whole bird (?artifact from shadows/highlights). Having said all that I really like the photo, especially that intense yellow eye.
