To me the best time to be at the bosque is end of January to the end of Feb.
The cranes are more like actors, dancing and performing.

I like the interaction and details. Maybe a slightly wider crop and I see a color cast on my monitor. Was a lower angle an option?

It just finished raining so the day was really grey lots of overcast, this is how it was out of the camera. I can only crop to the left and lower was not possible, I wished.

I like the action and interaction, Gary. Getting both birds sharp is always a challenge, but you were very successful here. You might experiment with warming up the colors a bit to see if that is an improvement. Well done.

Good sharpness and expression of their behavior. Mating behavior increases at the Bosque in Jan and Feb. There does seem to be a bluish color cast.

Lovely interaction captured Gary, and maybe just a bit tight on the RHS. I think the low angle is perfect. Well done.
