First day in Cody, had snow and wind, very enjoyable for a Floridian :D
From the road, rather out of the beaten path, but I sort of like the patterns in the icy water.

Lovely patterns in the water - really captures a feeling of cold with the blue tone. Maybe a little oversharpened but a really "cool" image, Fabs :D

Your lovely duck is a Common Goldeneye. I particularly love the colors and patterns in this scene. Doesn't look like he has a lot of free water left for swimming!

That looks pretty cold down there. I really like the waves of water, and this shows serenity at its best. All alone in the big blue yonder.

Being from up north, I can relate to the mood of this image - I like it. I agree with Tony that it looks (at least the duck) a bit oversharpened. You might consider cropping a little off the bottom to further emphasize the ice and the patterns. Well done.

Interesting fabs! The comp is good. I'll go and post a closeup of your duck shortly. :)

The cold cyan cast, the perfect placement of the duck, and the circular patterns all combine to make this a winner. Stay warm; I have a cold!

This is really, really nice! The diminutive duck in the mixed ice and water environment captures the essence of early winter. Just lovely and creative of you!
