taken yesterday at the boynton inlet. there were a few birds there. enough to keep you busy, just not a lot of different species.

D300, Bigma at 500mm, f/6.3, 1/800s, +0.3EV, ISO 200, flash fill, no beamer at +3.0EV

not much PP, just small crop, set b&w points, added some warmth and sharpened. no noise reduction. and i know, clone out the blob in the upper right!!!?

if anyone know what this is feel free to let me know!! thanks for looking and comments and critiques appreciated.

Hi Harold,

It's a Ruddy Turnstone. Nice pose and eye contact - perhaps a little too warm overall, and you have already said it about the blob. To me it's a very pleasing image.

Doctor Davis,
I like the composition very much, you have good color rendition and sharp details. The head angle and eye contact are dead on. You already mentioned the oof on the upper right...would also clone out the one on the bottom right too...I love the extreme low capture angle...congrats Doctor...another 10 in my book...:):D:cool:

Like the composition, the feathers have nice detail-would clean-up lower R corner as Gus pointed out
