Hi Dobromir, A stunning bird that is stunningly sharp. Lovely background. The image would have been even stronger if you had pointed the lens more to the left after focusing; this would have moved the bird out of the center and resulted in a stronger composition. Though I do not know the bird, I think that there may be a slight red cast. All in all fabulous (but could have been even better).

Artie, did you mean pointing the lens more to the right in order to place the bird more to our left of the frame? This is how I would see the comp better.

Very good looking raptor. GREAT view of the talons. I would be tempted to tone down the bright patch near the bird's back and the one above the head. All-in-all well done!

Pin sharp, and what a lovely pose. Sometimes it better to first get the shot, then comp it in your pp work. How often have we started to change settings, and the subject has flown away. Great capture Dobromir.
