Hi to all,

this is a common moth around Sydney which is around 20mm in lenght and a great meal for damselflies. Hope you enjoy viewing.

Hi Aristotle.
I like the compositional and diagonal leaf blade. The whites are in check. You display a good sharp eye, and I like the bold green background which compliments your subject very well...good show...:cool:

Aristotle, I think it's a beautiful image. I'd encourage you to take another look and see if you don't like an even closer crop so that beautiful eye on the moth is even more pronounced. The diagonal composition is well done. I like that the moth is half-hiding behind the blade of the plant! You did a beautiful job of exposing the whites so they aren't blown in their details. I just can't help thinking it would be even more beautiful if I could see it more upclose. Maybe a little off the bottom?

This works well for me as is Aristotle- lovely even light and with plenty of details in those silky white wings. A simple yet effective comp, well seen and taken.

Excellent exposure on the whites, and agree a little bit off the bottom. What an amazing looking moth. Well spotted and captured.
