Got lucky with this little guy, he stopped just long enough for a photograph at Green Cay.
Taken with a Canon 50-D - ISO = 200 at-f/5.6-1/200th with a +0.3 Ec. and 700-mm-L.
As usual all comments are most welcome and apprecited.

BG works beautifully with the colours, Bill. Plane of focus is unfortunately on the wing so the eye and beak are soft. I would tend to use a higher base ISO (400-800) which will give you a bit more flexibility with either a smaller apreture and thus greater DOF or a higher shutter speed. Keep them coming.

I like the bird´s pose and BG a lot. Too much room at the right and I think that you can go for a vertical composition with this one. Ditto what Tony said about the DOF. Maybe is my monitor but it seems to me that this image has a yellowish cast. Not sure.
