Lovely light, colours and feather details. I like the concentrated pose. Pity the near wing wasn't more vertical to catch the light and balance the far wing. Love the fanned tail.

Jeff... I envy you! Nice capture! Your info says 300 mm x 2. Do you mean you used a 2x TC?
I found out that close to my company there is a pair of them. they just got here for the Winter. I've been trying to get a shot of them but my 300 mm lens doesn't seem long enough, not even with a 1.7 TC. I'll just keep trying! Cheers!

I like the arm light and the fact that the image tells a story, "a raptor looking for food in thier habitat" and I like a lot that kind of images. The tail and hanging feet are fantastic but I do not like the right wing pose. Very good job.
