I was happy to find a pair of white-fronted geese among Canada Geese in Western Massachusetts last weekend. I had never seen this species before.

Nice one Axel! Like the eye contact, sharpness, and water color. The whites near the tail feathers, while not blown, are pretty hot. I might tone them down a bit.

Nice one Axel and agree with Doug if I may that the tail is a little hot but doesn't really bother me love the image as presented.
Re-did the hawk and snake as to your suggestion so maybe it will be o.k. now.

Nice low angle Axel. I like the pinks and greens in the water, and you got a great head angle from M. Goose! I agree about toning down the "hot but not blown" whites. Also seems to need a bit of CCW rotation? (perhaps just an illusion created by the sloped lines in the water behind the subject...)

Very nice, Axel. I think the key points have been made above. I agree about the whites and the CCW rotation.

Axel... Hi! Well, I like your shot! I don't have much to say coz I'm just learning here! Paying attention to what you guys like and dislike about everybody's pictures!

I wonder why geese don't have pretty names! Later I'll post a picture of some geese I saw in England and my friend told me they are called "gray leg geese"

thank you for sharing your finding! cheers!

NIce find, Axel, and well photographed, too. I keep thinking that a bit off the bottom would make the comp stronger, just personal taste probably.
