I thought I would post something a little different. This is a Mandarin Fish from Kimbe Bay in Papua New Guinea. They are one of the most flamboyant of all fishes. They move very fast and are difficult to find. Hope you enjoy.

Nathan,
A coulourful fish you got. I understand the difficulty photographing underwater. I agree with Alfred that you did very well with that aperture. The image pops up due to the dark bg. Look forward to more.
Cheers,

Hi Nate,

This has a lot of impact due to the black BKGR and bright colours of the fish. Great to see.

Thanks

Nice capture Nate! Two trips to New Guinea without seeing them, but managed to see several in northeastern Sulawesi in the Lembeh Straits. Thanks for sharing.

Nathan, this is outstanding. From experience, I know just how hard these guys are to photograph.

Very cool and well executed. The black BG really works here.
