Anther form yesterday at Long Key. Was concentrating on birds flying through the color, seemed to give the best chance at a good image. Had to do some work on this one since it was not razor sharp by any means but I think it has a nice feel !!

Comments welcome and much appreciated

Mr. Al,
I like this one too, it has a different feel to it. The pale two tone sky compliments the bird very well. Also like the capture angle...

i thought you were using the D300. i should have been using the 18-200 vs the bigma. Bigma locked focus about 7 times out of 350. and the 200 would have given me 300mm and that would have been enough i think!!

like what you did here. real nice two tone bg. will post my creation tomorrow after i look at it a few more times!!

Awesome Al, I remember when you got this one. Excellent details and the background sky rocks.
Had a great time.

Alfred, beautiful wing span and BG- His expression looks so sad! His wings are glowing did you do anything special to achieve this look? Really nice.

Hi Denise Nothing special the flash will give you that look !! Since I'm exposing for the bg the bird will be grossly under exposed so basically flash is used as main!!!

Alfred, I gotta start using a flash-I have one and I have the better beamer I bought from Artie at the last Photorama in NJ but just can't seem to get an interest-but those wings might do it for me!
