I experimented here by using shutter priority, to capture the moment of take off and keep it sharp. I set the ss to 1/1600, and ISO to auto. At the moment of taking the shot, the camera set the F stop, and set the ISO to suit the light at that particular moment. I liked the spread of the wings, and its amazing how well shaped they are from the instant of take off.

Love that AMAZING pose! Eye contact is great and all that room arround works very well IMO, whites seems a bit hot, but I don't care with SUCH a pose!! Congratulations!

Perfect pose! The wing position and place of head between them is excellent. I also like the perch still showing. Beautiful image :-)
