As a licensed Ham operator (NE5U) I've been soldering components on boards for longer than I care to remember. I came across this little kit the other day. I haven't enjoyed electronics this much in a long time. I liked it so much I built a few more and gave them to friends and family for pre-Christmas gifts. It takes about an hour to put one together and it's just plain cool to watch work

Kit is here (http://store.nutsvolts.com/product.php?productid=16785&cat=384&page=1)

Sample of it working is ]here[/B] ("http://www.myothermind.com/tree-patterns.html"[B). You have to click the numbers to advance to the next pattern. My favorite is #10.

Al- I've built 3 of them so far. The first one took a little longer. Maybe two hours. The last one was about an hour to an hour and a half.

Very interesting Michael...but the last time that I tried this, I almost burned down my parents house; oh a guess I was about 10 or 11; and I never heard the end of it...Thats why my Pops turned me on to the photographic arts...:D:cool:

The links are there, just not highlighted or really obvious. Click on the words 'here' in his original and they are linked or here they are again....
