Motif: Water – “Gumby Creek”

Note: circa 1974.
This is Gumby Creek in late October. Gumby Creek is located in Dutchess County; part of the Catskill Mountains, in Up State New York. Legend has it that Rip Van Winkle fished in this beautiful creek. The image was painted with a Honeywell Pentax Spotmatic 35mm film camera, using a Takumar SMC Pentax-m 28mm f/2.8 lens. The negative was scanned into digital jpeg format.

Very pretty Gus, I like the different shades of blue in the water and the reflections in it. I find the red leaves submerged are drawing my eye out of the frame which I think is a nice touch.
