Amazing sharp, and love the wing spread which is so well exposed. I also like the angle of flight in this. Great image Pepe.

Stunning...simply stunning! The level of detail is amazing for a flight shot of such a small bird.

Another unique view of these little birds, Pepe. Your artificial BG works very well.

Great light, details and BG. I only wish the near wing were a bit higher and wouldn't cover the foot.

I agree with Axel re: the wing position, but this is still really sweet. Your artificial BG looks very natural, nice work!

Man this is terrific, you know how much I like this one. I have been fortunate enought to see the original file in Pepe´s 24" screen and it is amazing to see how much details and sharpness this file has. The skin in the feet looks like a macro image and it is possible to see the growth bars in the feathers of the right wing. A winner image my friend

Love the details, especially the view of the feet in this flight pose. Do wish the top wing had cleared the foot, but still a great image. Lighting is excellent. I use photos of natural backgrounds as artificial backgrounds for hummingbirds too. Are you using shutterbeams?

Are you using shutterbeams?

Yes, I am using a handcrafted shutterbeams made by a friend photographer of Barcelona (Spain).
It is extremely rapid and uses the method of reflection, with the unique element. In addition, it is very easy to use.
The shutterbeams is the number 6

Wonderful action shot....now...if you'd be able to add a wideangle flightshot to this series I bet we'll see this series all over Europe soon!
