Taken in Kent CT Using Nikon D-70s and 500mm lens I/250 F-056
Just happened to be in right place at right time. I was able to lure cat closer by making squeeking sounds on my hand with mouth

Great find Raymond !!!!! Sure wish you would post exposure compensation

Composition wise would only move cat a bit back in the frame Love the direct look an pose Got him well in the open The image seems underexposed by at least one stop Trying to bring it back will introduce noise and the shadow behind head is difficult Gave it a try and could not come up with anything good

This is a good example why getting the first one on the money is important Love that cat !!! Congrats !!!

Hey Raymond, what a great cat! I still haven't seen a bobcat in the wild yet, despite lots of searching. I love the stare that he/she is giving you, but do wish that you had captured a lighter exposure. It's certainly worth reprocessing with positive exposure compensation if this is a RAW file. Beautiful animal!
